This affiliated event highlights the current progress of the CS Transfer curricular guidance being developed for two-year institutions, grounded in the ACM/IEEE-CS/AAAI CS2023 Curricula recommendations. The session will present how national computing guidelines are being thoughtfully adapted to support transfer-oriented computer science pathways in two-year programs, which are typically offered by community and technical colleges, ensuring alignment with four-year expectations while preserving the distinctive mission, student population, and instructional realities of two-year programs. Educators, administrators, and computing professionals from all levels of Computing education will engage in a structured review of the draft CS Transfer framework. Participants will examine proposed learning outcomes, course sequences, competencies, and transfer considerations, and will provide direct feedback to inform ongoing curricular guidance development by the ACM Committee for Computing Education in Community Colleges (CCECC). Through collaborative discussion and evaluation, this event aims to strengthen global consensus around transfer-ready CS curricula, promote coherence between two- and four-year computing education, and ensure that community college students are well prepared for continued study in computer science and related fields.
