Fri 20 Feb 2026 19:00 - 22:00 at Meeting Room 101 - Tutorial

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a rapidly evolving technology with high potential to impact the lives and careers of students. How can teachers meaningfully prepare students to understand how it works and use it ethically? Our team has been developing AI classroom activities using the powerful and free visual programming environment Snap! to help students cultivate an understanding of not only how to use AI but also of the algorithms behind AI technologies. This tutorial will offer a hands-on deep-dive into four of these free, Snap!-based classroom activities as well as discussion of their classroom implementation led by curriculum and Snap! Developers. This is a FREE workshop; we will cover the cost for participants to attend through our grant.
