Alexander Best is a professor for computing education at the University of Halle-Wittenberg. Previously, he was visting researcher at the University of Hildesheim. He earned his PhD from the University of Münster in 2020. His research interests include early computing education, teachers’ and students’ beliefs and attitudes, conceptual change theory, and CS for non CS majors in higher education. He is a reviewer for conferences and journals, such as SIGCSE (ACM) or CSE (T&F).
