Bio:

Jennifer Wong-Ma received her PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2006. She is currently the Vice Chair for Undergraduate Studies and a Teaching Professor for the Computer Science Department in the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine (UC Irvine). Prior to this position, she was a faculty member in the Computer Science Department at Stony Brook University. Her research aims to support and diversify student representation in CS, to develop illustrative teaching tools for complex computing topics, as well as create and study the effectiveness of automated teaching tools for CS education.
