Previously, I was an associate professor of computer science at Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU), a small liberal-arts, teaching-focused institution in rural, North-Central Ohio. At MVNU, I taught undergraduate CS and general education courses for seven and one-half years. Before my time in academia, I was an embedded software engineer in industry for seventeen years with Eastman Kodak, Data Science Automation (DSA) at Wright Patterson Air Force BASE (WPAFB), and PDi Communications, Inc.
