Undergraduate research experience provides students with opportunities to be exposed to theoretical and applied research, gain insight into the research process, and build portfolios for graduate school applications. Scaling such programs requires appropriate approaches to funding, recruitment, and program management. This poster describes the evolution of the Summer Undergraduate Research program (SUR) at ANONYMOUS, from its inception in 2022 to its expansion in 2025. We detail strategies for recruiting students and operationalizing the program through structured milestones and integration with the Computing Research Association (CRA) ANONYMOUS program. Research topics have converged on emerging areas like Artificial Intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and User Experience (UX), and generally mixing AI with another topic. Our experience demonstrates that scaling such programs requires appropriate investments and a strong support system that exceeds the span of the program.
